Meg Ryan stars in this dark-tinged comedy as a wife who resorts to desperate measures to save her marriage. When high-powered lawyer Louise (Ryan) discovers that her husband Ian (Timothy Hutton) is having an affair with a much younger woman, Sara (Kristin Bell), she duct-tapes him to the toilet and holds him hostage until he gives a satisfactory explanation for his actions. But an unexpected visit by an intruder, Todd (Justin Long), eventually forces husband, wife and mistress to face up to their situation in the most unexpected manner.
