When installing an aftermarket radio into your vehicle an adaptor lead is often required to enable connection of the vehicles existing aerial to the new head unit. Antenna Adaptors connect your car audio unit to the car’s external aerial/antenna.

This amplified aerial adaptor fits in line with the car’s aerial connection and has a built in booster to help increase signal strength.
It is designed primarily for vehicles which have a Fakra aerial fitted as standard. These cars have a booster built into the original OEM set so when exchanged for a new stereo the booster is removed from the system.
If you have one of these cars and have encountered poor radio reception since changing the stereo then this is what you need.
Blue cable supplied on adaptor needs to be connected to any 12V ignition line. We suggest connecting to the amp remote cable on loom for your after-market unit.
