Richard Quine directs this classic drama starring Audrey Hepburn and William Holden. Having been hired to produce a screenplay for Hollywood producer Alexander Meyerheimer (No?l Coward), writer Richard Benson (Holden) spends three months relaxing and drinking in Paris instead of concentrating on the job in hand. He now has just three days before his deadline and so hires secretary Gabrielle Simpson (Hepburn) to assist him. Gabrielle proves to be an unexpected source of inspiration, acting out various outlandish plots for Richard and firing his imagination.
