Boasting 104 world class snooker players, this title gives gamers the opportunity to play against some of the greats. World Snooker Championship 2007 gives players a shot at ten official tournaments, all based around the 2007 season. Don’t just expect a repeat of last years title with a few names and faces, however. Developer Blade Interactive has introduced a whole aspect to the franchise: pool. Added to the mix are some of pool’s best players. You can compete against them across 10 tournaments, including the Mosconi Cup and the World Pool Championships. Also thrown in to expand on the series is Golden Cue mode. This will allow you to mix it up by switching cue sports mid-game and push your versatility to the next level. Blade has also taken some time out to enhance the existing gameplay mechanics. The cueball can be positioned with greater accuracy than in previous iterations of the game, allowing players to perform advanced safety shots for better defensive play. The create-a-player mode also returns with improvements, allowing gamers to customise their player before they rise to the top.
